One Last Hurrah!

Well, winter is coming to a close, and we just took our last trip up to Wintergreen for the season.  The weather was AMAZING!  70 degrees and sunny!  The snow was a little slushy, but we had fun snowboarding in short sleeves.

On our way home, we stopped at the Blue Ridge Pig.  That's kind of a tradition now.  It's a dive, but it has the best turkey sandwich and potato salad I've ever had.  Yum!  Can't wait 'til next year!!!

St. Paddy's Day

I love St. Patrick's day.  The kids always get so excited and I get to experiment with green food coloring.  So fun!  Here's a picture of the kiddos all dressed in green.

Hair

We're discovering something around here for the first time....hair.  After three boys, it seems so strange to have a child with so much hair.  We love the way it swirls in the bath water and how it looks in a soap-hawk.  However, we're not so fond of the way it gets stuck in the velcro of her bib and in the snot crusted to her nose.  (Yes, that really does happen.)  =)

Slumber Party

Scott was out of town last weekend and I wanted to do something fun for the boys without REALLY having to do anything....you know what I mean?  (I'm such a good mom, I know.)  So, what better than a slumber party on the 3rd floor?  We pushed all the couch cushions together and brought up sleeping bags and blankets.  They were so excited!  For some reason, Brady had the hardest time sleeping.  I took this picture around 11:00 and he was still up.  They thought it was awesome to wake up the next morning and already be in the same room as the Wii.  Ah, simple pleasures!

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall....

Who's the fairest.....

Of them all?

Claire loves to look at herself in the mirror.  We could be in trouble in about 15 years!

Brady's 4th Birthday

I can't believe how fast they grow up!  It doesn't seem like that long ago we were bringing Brady home from the hospital and now he's 4 years old!

We had some friends over for lunch and cupcakes after preschool.  Brady was so excited that it was FINALLY his birthday.  He's been asking me everyday for about a month, "Is today my birthday?"

When Dad got home from work, we went to Cheeburger Cheeburger for dinner (only because I vetoed McDonald's) and then came home for presents and more cupcakes.  It was a great day for a great boy!
