I'm so bummed I forgot to take a "before" picture. This was an old brown desk I found at Goodwill for $30. It practically begged me to take it home and give it a makeover! I painted it antique white and gave it some new hardware. Isn't it pretty? It's going to be my new nightstand out at the farm.

Halloween
And Claire was a cat.....the ears were a gift from our neighbor. She loves their cat, Sweetie.
I love this one of Mason and Claire. They look like they're practicing their "Thriller" dance.

Before & After...
Last week, I found myself browsing the local antique store looking for a 'cheap find' in need of a makeover. I'm very inexperienced in this department, but have recently had a desire to start learning. I found this cute little bench and decided to go for it.

We All Wanna Be Rockstars!!!
I'm a little confused by everyone's attire. We had church clothes, pajamas and everything in between.
Justin was a natural on the mic. I think he even refused to give it to one of his kids at one point. Oh, yeah....we were serious. The little kids didn't get to bed until midnight and the grown-ups kept jamming until almost 1 a.m. We paid for it a little the next day, but it was worth it!
Until next time...

I've Been Robbed!
Yes, I've been robbed......of the chance to paint my one-and-only girl's toenails for the first time!
Scott stayed home from church with Mason a couple weeks ago. It's pretty much a given around here that if you stay home with one of the older kids, you get the youngest as well. It's only fair, right? When I got home, I was greeted by a smiley-faced little toddler admiring her pretty purple toes. I must admit, I was a little mad. I've waited a looooong time to have a girl and get to paint her cute little toenails. When I asked Scott why he did it, he said, "Mason was sleeping and I didn't know what to do with Claire. I figured girls like to paint their toenails, so that's what we did." I couldn't stay mad for long. It really was cute. I just couldn't believe that Scott of all people would be the one to beat me to it. =)
