With shoulder surgery looming in the near future, Scott has been trying to fit in as much golf and other two-handed activities he can. He and Logan went wakeboarding with some friends of ours yesterday. Scott had been once before, but this was Logan's first time. Apparently, he hopped right in the water with no reservations. He must get that from Scott.

VA Beach
The beach was the first "mini vacation" we took during Scott's week off. I was shocked at how fearless Mason and Logan were. The minute we got to the beach, they took the boogie boards and headed into the water. Brady was more comfortable on dry ground, however. Maybe next year he'll get in on the action too. Claire was perfectly content to relax under the umbrella and had fun splashing in the baby pool. We're already looking forward to our next beach trip!

So many updates, so little time
Here's a quick recap of our fun summer adventures...Scott's entire family came and stayed at the ranch for our third annual Schlensker family reunion. This is the only time of year that everyone can be in the same place at the same, and as always, we had so much fun! Mason attended his first-ever cub scout day camp where he learned how to shoot bows and arrows and BB guns and got to do all sorts of fun boy stuff. Logan lost his second tooth and Scott took a week off work so we could have our own mini family vacations at VA Beach, Natural Bridge and Wintergreen. It's been a fun summer!
