Jewelry Making 101

A good friend of mine inspired me to do a little jewelry making.  She is so talented and creative and was nice enough to show me the ropes. Thanks, Brittany!  These are my first attempts.....not too bad!  =)

SNOW!!!

After being out of school all week except for a half a day on Thursday, we got hit (yet again) with another big snow storm.  The kids have had so much fun playing outside and Scott and I have logged around six cumulative hours of shoveling.  

We took Claire outside for her first "real" snow experience today.  To our surprise, she really enjoyed it! Maybe she was just happy to be out of the house for a change....

Scott was the master snow fort builder today.  He spent a good 2 or 3 hours on this masterpiece.  It's hard to tell, but our WHOLE family is inside....all 6 of us!

These pictures will give you a better idea of how tall it is.  We teased the boys and told them they'd be sleeping in it tonight.  A couple of them actually thought it would be fun.  Somehow, I have a feeling that would only last about 5 minutes.
