Easter Sunday

I'm not sure why, but it is always a little hectic getting out of the house in time for church on Sundays...even with the 1:00 schedule.  We did, however, manage to get a family shot in before we left.  The boys had a great time searching for their Easter baskets, not to mention the huge basket from Grandpa Knight.  Thanks, Grandpa!

Even More Texas

More Texas

Texas

We went straight from Utah to Texas where we enjoyed food and fun in cowboy style!  Mom and Dad were great to let all three boys ride with them everywhere we went.  I'm sure there was no shortage of entertainment in their car.  We had a great time hanging out at the ranch, going to the Will Rogers Coliseum and eating!  The boys always have a blast there, and they all made great strides in their horse riding.  Mason even had a few cutting lessons.  Thanks, Mom and Dad for a great trip!

The Joys of Motherhood

I've decided that the phrase "opposition in all things" even (or maybe I should say ESPECIALLY) applies to motherhood.  Before Mason was born, I had glorious visions of what motherhood would be like.  And while the best moments of motherhood are so far beyond anything I could have ever imagined, there are still those occasional times when I think to myself, "Did I really sign up for all of this...four times?!"  This colorful little accident happened while we were eating breakfast at the hotel in Utah.  The topper is that I was carrying Claire in the sling at the time.  After I removed her from the sling, I quickly realized that not only did I need to change her clothes, but I also needed to change mine...all three layers!  A sense of humor is a must!  :-)

Hanging out with the Ericksons

Here are some cute pictures of the kids with the Erickson cousins.  (Caden, Rylee & Alleah)  The kids played so well together.  We're looking forward to seeing them again in a few months!

Todd & Lindsey's Wedding

We recently made a trip out to Utah for Todd and Lindsey's wedding.  They are so cute together and so happy!  We wouldn't have missed it for the world.  The kids had a fun time seeing their cousins again and we had a great time chatting with so many of Scott's relatives we don't get to see very often.  Thanks to Laurie and Todd (the other Todd), we always had a fun place to hang out and lots of yummy food.  Thanks, you guys!
