I'm so bummed I forgot to take a "before" picture. This was an old brown desk I found at Goodwill for $30. It practically begged me to take it home and give it a makeover! I painted it antique white and gave it some new hardware. Isn't it pretty? It's going to be my new nightstand out at the farm.
I was going to distress it a bit, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I think I like it just the way it is!

It is so cute. I do like the clean, crisp look. And you're right-if it starts to get banged up, then you can distress it and say it was your plan all along! ;)
